"WOFFF.... WOFF... WOOOFFFF...." Our Angel darling went barking mad. Ahhh.... Here comes our 1st Virus TT at the party, together with him is another darling, our baby Virus Apple. Of course there's the red and white wine of the grand vineyard.

"Am I too early?" asked Virus TT. "Noooo, just nice to help with the set up" replied Lady Speedster. Yes, the celebration is finally here - it's Team SpeedVirus' Christmas and Award Party.

Soon, the skies turned red and before long, it started to pour. It's fortunate that we anticipated this and organized this party indoor. Party must go on.... Team Advisor - Virus EOS came with his HUGE prawns. He headed straight for the kitchen and started whipping up a storm in the wok. Tempting fragrance filled the air and before we know it - huge, red & juicy prawns were all lined up on cocktail crackers, top with the lightest whipped cream from the region. Now, that's a real starter!

Up went the balloons and other decors when Virus CK, Bear and Ken finished pumping up the balloons. Everyone loved the huge Christmas tree in the room. The children were busy admiring the stars, glass balls and shiny twinklets hanging from the tree.

One by one the Viruses starting coming in. Everyone came bearing a gift. This year's theme is "wild" gift exchange. Each came with delicious food contributing to the menu.

"I'm hungry!", said one Virus. "Me too!", said another. "Let's wait for the guests", Lady Speedster replied.

Before long, the guests started coming in. The tables were soon filled with all kinds of heavenly smelling food. The yummy otak, the curry chicken, juicy spaghetti, tender sandwiches, creamy log cakes, colourful mango pudding, glazed Christmas ham, yang chow fried rice, pineapple coated satays, crispy curry puffs, delicious desserts, bubbly champagne...

The ambience was perfect - with a beautiful Christmas tree, softly lighted candles on beautifully carved candle stands, tribal lights warming up the porch, sandal wood scented candles sprinkled along the stairway, heart-warming Christmas carols filling the rooms, aroma oil burning gently in the lovely jars... A nice warm fireplace and white-out snow would have completed the picture.

Soon, everyone was shaking hands and greeting each other with warm wishes and hugging each other in mutual exchange of blessings. As the guests mingled with one another, the flow of drinks and varieties of food continued to fill the tables.

"Yuuummmmmm.... SHENG!!!!" someone started yelling at the top of her voice.... With red and white wine in everyone's hand, the cheering started and soon, it gathered momentum and soon turned into a thundering roar....

"YUUUUMMMMMMMMM..... SHEEENNNNGGG!!!" Viruses, Choir Gals, fathers, mothers and babies were all cheering at the top of their lungs! "Wah.... Is it Chinese New Year already?"

Team SpeedVirus' Award Presentation was soon underway. Best Men's, Best Women's, Best Junior and Best Overall were presented to the respective winners. Heartiest congratulations to all the winners!

Team SpeedVirus being the 1st in Singapore to conduct Individual and Team Time Trials, recognize each Virus as a winner in his or her own right. As we successfully completed another league of Time Trial for 2003, let us move forward with more commitment, better timing and dedication. GO VIRUSES GO!!!!!

Virus Captain got the ball rolling for "wild" gift exchange. His gift of a hand-shaped pillow got fellow Viruses whacking him up with it. Strong Captain of course blocked all attacks with his infamous huge hands. Virus KL got a 2 square-inch shave of his hairy leg. Our friend Vip was blessed with a watermelon helmet! :) Virus KP had a goal post shower cap on his head the whole night through. Virus TT had the easy "blow" task. Virus EOS had to wear black stockings on his hands and legs and carry a silly pink bag on his arms. Hahahahaaaa......

The gals were not spared either. Some got a whole face full of flour, others got chocolate thrown into the "nets". Vice-captain was given a chocolate mask on her face - she seems to love it though. Virus evocative had to wear her panty outside the whole night long.

"Eh.... You siao izzit?? Ask me to shave my hairy legs???".
"You eat the whole watermelon and then wear the "helmet" on your head..."
"Ah..... wax on my hand very pain leh...."
"Aiya... this green shower cap how come got goal post one??"
"You want me to be Superwoman tonight??"
"Wahhhh... the dog is eating the log cake ahhhhh.....

Some were laughing so hard they fell off their chairs, while other gals were too scared to move. They actually looked quite pale when it was their turn to receive their gifts. Hahhaa.....

"Tis the season to be jolly.... Tra la la la la.... La la la la....."
"Silent Night....... Holy Night....."
"On the first day of Christmas my true love sent to me..."

As the melody of the carols and songs filled the night, all was peaceful as they settled down to serenade the real meaning of Christmas - the remembering of the birth of Christ. With soft candlelights and sweet aroma in the background, angelic voices cascading through the air, with guitar strumming and trampoline tapping gently to the rhythm. The heartwarming melody flows as the celebration of Christmas continues into the night... A Kodak moment....

There are many musicians in the midst and even a composer of the song "Christmas in Singapore". We sure have many talents in our company.

Of course the night is not complete without some skating and cycling. A few mad Viruses headed towards the coast while others left with warm tummies, broad smile on their faces, good fun and great memories.

Many thanks to each and everyone who has contributed to the success of this Christmas celebration. Until next time. God bless!
