June 2, 2004 - TSV Flight 0206
By Daryl Chan.

DiDuDi DiDuDi. Good morning. I am Daryl, your vice- captain for the day. The captain for the day is Captain Cedric. The stewards on this plane will be Justin and Roy. We, the crew would like to welcome you, the highly privilleged 4 passengers (Ms Jenn, Ms Ethel, Mr Kim and Mr Marcus) onbard TSV 0206. This flight will be a loop route, starting and ending at East Coast Park. This trip will travel along the scenic route along the East Coast Park beach, where lunch will be served at the fairly newly renovated East Cast Park Food Centre. The ambience at the food centre is sure to whet your appetite.

After lunch we will travel up north via Fort Road, Mountbatten Road, Geylang Bahru, Bendemeer Road, Potong Pasir, Bishan and Ang Mo Kio. This leg of the trip will bring you past landmarks such as Kallang MRT Station, an industrial park filled with many undertakers and the Kallang Park Connector. Unfortunately for this leg, you can expect to meet with rain in certain areas that have no shelter for some distance. So be prepared to clean your bearings tomorrow. We will take a short rest in Ang Mo Kio for a refuel, where you can take a short shop-a-round at the local pasar malam.

After the short stop, we will depart for Sembawang, via Ang Mo Kio Ave 7, Yio Chu Kang Road, Jalan Kayu, Seletar West Camp, Seletar Club Road as well as Canberra Link. Landmarks along the way will be the pre-war buildings in Seletar Camp, Yishun Dam, as well as the Kiri Simpang Park Connector. As per the previous leg, showers of blessing are to be expected in the Seletar Camp Vicinity. You will get a chance to meet with a jogger who will try hard to run faster than you can skate and be rest assured, he WILL succeed. An unscheduled refuel will be in the Sembawang region, where drinks will be served at S$3 a can. Drink at your pockets' own risk.

The third leg runs from Sembawang to Admiralty. You will experience a chance to detour around construction sites until you almost think you are lost. You will get to see a beautiful sunset along the way. Dinner will be served at the Admiralty Mall food court, where you will be pleased to find that there is a wide array of local food available for your selection. Some of these choices include half roasted chicken with rice at $3.80, pig's brain soup' starfruit juice to clear off the 'heat' accumulated in your body.

After dinner, you will get to take a fast forward ride in Singapore's famous MRT system, from Admiralty to Clementi, after a transfer at Jurong East. Some of you will get to take photos along the way, looking like a tourist from abroad.

After alighting at Clementi, we will travel directly back to East Coast Park, via Holland Road, Orchard Road, Mountbatten Road, passing by landmarks such as the Ulu Pandan Park Connector, Holland Village and the world-famous Orchard Road shopping area. The highlights of this leg includes weaving through the crowds at Orchard Road, as well as being part of Team Singapore Celebrates 2004, with this year being an improvement from last year, with all lanes on both side of Nicoll Highway closed for skaters.

Along the entire trip today, you will experience rough and/or wet roads, floods, marble tiles as well as climb many hills and mountains. Not to mention, you will see a dead dog and chameleon.

Now, could everyone kindly tape up your feet against blisters and fasten your skates as our 'plane' is going to take off soon. May you have a pleasant trip ahead.

11 hours later: Welcome back to East Coast Park. We trust that you have had an enjoyable time. We, at TSV Airlines, look forward to serve you again. Have a nice day. To book future flights with TSV Airlines, kindly write an email to our Captain.
