Once again another successful league is completed. This year we held our award party in the forest of concrete. BBQ, Tepanyaki and stir-fried sumptuous food are on the menu. Viruses simply love food no matter how it is done. Big thanks to the food committee who did the shopping for the best food and the preparations. The guys went about setting up the BBQ pit while the rest of the Viruses set up the table for prizes and medals, yet others jumped into the inviting pool without further ado.

As usual, vain Viruses posed all over the place for photos - be it in the swimming pool, toiling over the hot BBQ stove or simply standing on earth. In the midst of all the excitement, all I could hear was "Let's cook the FOOD". Yeah yeah... FOOD...!! This is the time when you see everyone gathered around and placing their orders. As the aroma filled the place, our stomachs went into a crazy rumble. Food on the menu were juicy black pepper beef, curry chicken, hotdogs, huge mushrooms, freshy caught fish, bee hoon, juicy satays and loads more food. There was so much food that I didn't know where to start. Frankly we just ate and ate like we've gone hungry for ages.

"Eh.. Orange… You Know how to cook or not???"

"Can this be eaten???"

"Orange said, Wei… You try this see nice or not, I any how add seasoning one..."

"Jenn can you please cook this, I don't know how to cook this..."

The swimmers, chit-chatters and posers quickly stopped what they were doing and rushed to the dining table. I could see the sparkle in their eyes as they unconsciously moved their hands round their 4-packed torsos. Baby Virus with his huge one-packed muscle, was busy chomping down the beef steak, chicken curry…

While the chefs were busy cooking, I was busy eating. With a quick glance to my left and right, I realized that actually I was not alone, a whole row of Viruses were just as focused on licking their fingers, slurping away the juicy satays, happily munching down every morsel of the fast moving delicious food.

With a loud burp, Baby Virus said, "I cannot eat another bite... That's it for me!!"

Prize presentation was next on the menu. With all its usual fuss, it proceeded on efficiently. Hardworking Viruses are once again awarded for their diligence and effort. Many have improved tremendously and were awarded fabulously. It is encouraging to see everybody committed not only to the sports but also to the races. My heartiest congratulations to all the Viruses who have upgraded their status - continue to work hard and move on to the next higher level.

Creative Viruses have prepared a Marshmallow Fruit cake for our dearest Baby Viruses, who has been pushing the tarmac all over the island since he was 2+. With a huge smile, he blew out the single candle and Viruses surrounded him with hugs and kisses. How our darling Baby has grown…. Just as each and everyone of us has...
