It was time for the monthly time trials again.

There were two main highlights for this month's time trials. The first one was the Challenge of the Century, where three of the fastest skaters in Singapore were expected to have a head-to-head face off at their home track. Unfortunately, this was anti-climaxed with a fall in the second lap, resulting in a less that exciting finish.

The four-sided Relay battle was the next highlight of this month's time trials. With everyone mixed around and with the new equipment, not yet tested in relay situations, it was time for a test of the teams' communication skills. Eventually, the team that emerged winner was just fortunate, given the slightly better rapport between the team members. Nonetheless, all the other teams sure put their best foot (or skate) forward to ensure that the wining team did not have an easy victory.

Till next month, it is time to train hard again, as we await the opening of the inaugural Singapore Inline Cup, where the fastest skaters from Singapore and even around the region will gather to pit their skills and speed against each other.
