Thick scent of fertilizer filled the early morning air as we gathered for the day's time trial at the infamous cemetery stretch. 15km race was the order of the day.

Some Viruses measured the track, some zoomed around in their cars to check the road while the others started to warm up to the aromas of the fertilizers from the farms.

Briefed on the finer points of the race, everyone proceeded to the starting point.
Some trucks went "HONK HONK!! "As we arranged ourselves on the road as if it was our grandfather's lane.

"OK OK everyone gets ready" Immediately everyone froze….
"Attention! Beep!!" The guys dashed off fast and furious. Mad Viruses took one look at each other and went "Chiong arh"!!

As I skated, I was "encouraged" by the stench of the fertilizers each round. I had to push harder and faster just to get away from the disturbing air. However, the long challenging hills and frenzy endless roads were challenging to even the Elite guys to say the least. Fortunately for us it was only 3 laps. It was tough fight among the guys and mad dash to the finishing line among the gals.

Comments and happenings during the race were exchanged.
Virus Croxx: "Woah no energy liao. Chase and chase"
Virus Calm: "Heard Timer said one more round, thought last round already?!"
Ladyspeedster: "What happened to KC?? Heard he was pushing so hard that he got something in his pants!!"

That sent everyone into heaps of laughter as we were gearing down to engage in cool down stretches. As Coach Jenn (Ladyspeedster) debriefed, Virus KC ran and disappeared into the bush…. Poor KC sure had a ball of a race!! Hahaha :))
